Dinner with a friend at the Oxford & Cambridge club and we shared a bottle of Ch Beychevelle 1988. Truely beautiful wine, great balance and drinking very well. Fruit still fresh and tannins subtle, liquid velvet on the tongue.
Exceptional value at £75, but the best retail price seems to be around £100 pb via wine-searcher
